NatureHolic – Cray Feed

Freshwater crayfish have a very varied diet in the wild. Natureholic Cray Feed Sticks contain only biologically balanced ingredients that are part of the natural diet of these crayfish in this or a similar form. This naturally supports and promotes moulting, growth and reproduction. Due to their protein content they are ideally suited for omnivorous crayfish of the genera Procambarus, Cambarus, Cambarellus, Astacus and the Cherax crayfish from Australia, which are basically omnivores that like to eat animal as well as vegetable food. Also the crayfish of the genus Cherax from Papua like to eat a portion of animal food when they are young, later they switch mainly to vegetable food.

We deliberately avoid low-quality animal meal and also fish meal. By processing insects and crustaceans, NatureHolic – Cray Feed contains not only high-quality protein, but also nutritionally beneficial chitin, which helps the crustaceans to build up their shells, and the moulting and growth hormone ecdysone, which can help them in the moulting process. This provides the crayfish with everything they need for healthy growth and successful reproduction. Furthermore, we have chosen a special mixture of trace elements and vitamins for NatureHolic – Cray Feed, which – unlike competitive products – contains bio available organic mineral compounds. They are directly available to the organism and do not have to be converted first.

Crayfish can perfectly hold on to and nibble off the water-stable, approx. 10 mm long sticks – this results in less “abrasion” when eating. This, in combination with the excellent digestibility, ensures less water pollution.

Feeding recommendation: Feed 1-2 times a day as much as the animals take in a few minutes. Feed sparingly, usually 1-3 sticks per crayfish are sufficient depending on the size of the crayfish.
