NatureHolic – Shrimp Mineral Feed

Shrimps, crabs and shrimps need minerals and trace elements to build up their new skin and to get through the molting process without damage. Minerals and trace elements are also indispensable for growth, egg production and quality, blood formation and a well-functioning immune system, and their importance cannot be overestimated. Therefore, it makes sense to feed the crustaceans with Natureholic Mineralfeed two to three times a week targeted minerals and high quality protein.

Not only shrimps, crayfish and crabs depend on a regular supply of minerals, but also snails need minerals and trace elements for their metabolism, their immune system, the egg formation and especially for the structure of their shell, which they – unlike shrimps – absorb not only from food, but also from the water. They need an extra portion of minerals and trace elements in their food especially if they live in an aquarium where the pH is below 7 and the total hardness below 10, for example in a typical soft water aquarium for bee shrimp or Taiwanese.

Snails also have a very difficult time in brine tanks, as the brine soil continuously breaks down the carbonate compounds they need. In particular, the high calcium content of Mineralfeed helps the snails to build their shells.

The gentle cold-pressing process we use in production protects the nutrients and minerals and preserves them almost completely in the manufacturing process. As Darwin said: Anything that goes against nature will not last in the long run!

While competitive products are often composed exclusively of inorganic mineral mixtures, NatureHolic Mineralfeed contains only organic minerals. These can be absorbed and utilized directly by the organism and are therefore immediately available. Natureholic Mineralfeed contains a balanced mixture of vitamins, minerals and trace elements, which provides the shrimp with everything they need.

The insects and crustaceans contained as protein suppliers not only ensure a high level of acceptance, they also provide withnutritionally valuable protein and the moulting hormone ecdysone as well as important cholesterol, which the shrimp need for a smooth moult.

Feeding recommendation: feed 1-2 times a week as much as the animals will consume in a few minutes. Feed sparingly, usually one 5mm pad is sufficient for 15-25 shrimp.
